Protecting Children from Internet Pornographers Act of 2011

Protecting Children from Internet Pornographers Act of 2011 (HR 1981) is a new bill that is of concern to libraries because of its violation of privacy while seemingly doing nothing to protect children from pornography.  The Office of Intellectual Freedom and the ALA Washington Office are monitoring this bill and ALA has already sent a letter opposing the bill. For more information about this bill, check out this article.
